hesitation between 6k-8k rpm?
What can cause my turbo GSR to hesitate when I hit 6k~8k rpm on 14psi?
Sparkplug gap(30)? to high of fuel pressure? not enough fuel? timing? backpressure? incorrect vacuum line hookup? missinglink bypass?

There's a hole in your fuel map. All we have to do is lengthen the injector pulse and you'll be in the 9's. -Jesse,

I have the same problem with my car, it can be a combination of things.
Just need to know your setup and what gas you running, ignition timing, etc....

I thought I would lighten things up a little. hehe anyway, i would definitely invest in a fuel pressure gauge like a greddy or something accurate, I would also, check into dialing out any overlap when the car hits Vtec. You could have some excess blowby. maybe it could be your ignition. or your detonating. Can't say because, i need more information. If you can give us a greater explanation, we may be able to help you more.

Setup:
DragIII, Airtex inline, Vortech FMU 6:1, RC440 Saturated, Field AFC,
NGK7 series gap@30, stock ignition, timing set 3~4 degrees retard,
VTEC set to 5500rpm, 9:1compression, 91octane. Air/fuel guage shows
I'm running rich.

Gears set to 0. Haven't dynoed yet.
Do you guys think running way rich up top will cause this?
How can I remedy this if my AFC is already at -30%max.
Can I put a check valve between the vacuum line and Vortech FMU?

Is it hesitating or cutting out? I'd say it's more than likely ignition related. How old are your wires/cap/rotor/plugs? Mine was cutting out in the upper RPM's and replacing those components fixed it.

Well overlapping has been know to cause this from time to time retard your intake by 2 degrees. Also check your distributor for worn leads. This has happend to me personally before damn cap
