Default HELP: wont go into gear

i recently swapped my gsr motor into my ek... this motor was running and shifting great when it was in my gsr... today i finally started the motor in the ek and when i went to go test drive it, it wouldnt go into gear but will go into gear when not started, if started wont go... i did bleed the line many times also but the pedal still feels really soft (which should feel stiff)... i also swapped to a braided line for the clutch line... whenever i press the clutch pedal, fork does move... what could be my problem.. could it be that i didnt press in the fork all the way back>?? or is it my braide line(72" long) did a wire tuck...? or slave cyclinder? and car starts up fine...

set up
gsr motor
braided clutch line
brand new act clutch xtreme pp
brand new throwout bearing

<FONT COLOR="red"><FONT SIZE="25">UPDATE:</FONT></FONT>
well went to go bleed the line serval times more and still no luck... so i swapped back to the stock line and rebled the line and no luck again.... so i was going to rip apart the tranny and see if i installed everything correct.. but decided that i would give it one more try before i started and this time the car was up on jack stands... started it up and it went into gear... its still a stiff engagment but does go in... could it be my mounts or the shift linkage.. whenever i shift the motor kinda rocks back and forward... mounts are all tighten up

mounts
99 si rear T mount
99 si driver side mount that bolts to block
driver side stock civic
tranny stock civic
lower tranny gsr
no a/c mount
im also using the shift linkage from the 94 gsr swap...
car
97 honda civic hb

my car is pretty slammed could it be that im too low and the linkage is going at an angle? but it shifts fine when car is not started and its smooth (when down on the ground)...

Yep, or it could be the slave or master cylinder. Check for wetness around the clutch pedal in both cars.

It goes into gear when on jack stands because there is no load on the tires. The clutch is still not engauging so the syncho is doing all the work getting it onto gear.

The primary problem here is that the clutch is not engauging.

So you installed a really lone clutch line. You mentioned you bled the line but there is probably still air in there. You to open up the the bleed, put a hose on it draining to a bottle. Then you need to pump at least 3 full reseviors throught the line. Just keep pushing the clutch up and down. The pedal won't come up so just bring it up with your hand and keep doing it.

It really helps if you have a friend handy to make sure there are no more bubbles in the line. A clear hose will let you see this.

You could also have a friend check to see if the fork it moving, that would confirm if there is in fact air in the lines.

i did bleed the line many many times... i basically used up a whole bottle of brake fuild ... the big ones from napa... at first pedal does nothing, after a while it gets alittle stiffer but never gets as stiff as i known how act xtreme PP are... sometimes the pedal feel gets weaker when the car is started up too... i also went to go check my LS swap in my other civic and the slave cyclinder goes as far as my gsr cyclinder does...
do u guys think its a clutch problem? maybe i over tighten the Pressure plate? what the heck is my problem...

double check your pressure plate, you might've installed it wrong...i know it sounds silly but i've seen it happen a couple of times..8)
