Default Help: Weird Turbo Spooling Sound after Tune

I noticed that my car made an awful sound when I drove it today. Instead of the spooling sound that the Greddy 18G makes when boosting, it makes a weird clapping sound (like a playing card slapping against a bicycle wheel while moving) best way I could think of describing it. I also can't boost past 5-6 psi no matter what I do with the boost controller. We've checked for vacuum leaks and other things. Does anyone have any suggestions to what it could be? The car was spooling normally this morning making the normal spooling sound.

that noise is the blades of the turbo slapping against the compressor or exhaust housing......it can come apart and get some sweet metal in your motor and expletive your bearings as well you might want to take it off NOW

I was just going to make a topic about this same thing. I just took off the filter and the blades are fine and theres no shaft play or anything weird. could it just be im hearing my injectors? they are 550's and I know some people hear then tick pretty good.

we told him to take off his compressor housing and turbine housing and look at the blades. No where did we say, "take off your filter and take a look at your blades."

reason why....you cant see the whole blade. It could look perfectly fine from the inducer side and be completly destroyed on the exducer side.

yes on the compressor side you will only see the smaller inducer side
