I just installed 1G DSM blue top 450cc injectors into my B20.
AFC set to -35% -1000rpm. Tried -50%, -40%, car will not start!
The starter works. She may rumble a couple times, then dies. Very rough. I believe everything is hooked back up properly.
Please help me out!

double check all the wiring is correct

umm got injector resistor box..? or did you put the injector plug in the rite injectors?... did you put the 10amp/10ohm resistors on the yellow/black injector wire?...umm...if you got a FPR set your fuel pressure at 20 and put all the fuel setting at -50.. just to start the car...other then that.. thats all that can be wrong.. unless your injectors are bad.. also make sure oyu dont have vacuum leaks where the injectors sit.. and make sure they are nice and snug in there...if this doesnt work stick your stocks back in and start it up.. sometimes you have to hold the pedal down when you put the 450's in when you start them cuz it floods the motor with such big injectors

It's a 4G CRX, so here is no additional wiring, i.e. resistor box, etc. I will play with the FPR. I don't think there are any vaccum leaks or anything. Everything seems to be connected properly. Thanks for the help.

Tried Reinstalling everything. Everything is plugged in right, I believe. There is no additional wiring, correct? This is in a 4G CRX, plug and play? Need HELP!!!! Reinstalling stockies is a no go for now, as I had to bore out the seals. What could be wrong with the DSM's? Car doesn't Feel like it is rich...

is there a napa around your place...cause they sell the injector seal kits....specific to your car i think...

could you please tell me what a "4G" crx is? i'm only familiar with the 1st gen, 2nd gen, and the the del sol which some ppl "Refer" to as the 3rd gen. i want to make sure you dont need resistors....

Do you think so? The car just tried to idle, and that is as far as I have gotten. This leads me to believe everything is indeed, hooked up properly. I think it is just a matter of finding the proper AFC setting for idle. The battery/starter is taking a **** on me right now, so I have to wait. Guess I'll take a shower, all I can smell is gas...

did you have the injectors cleaned before you put them in?

Take the injectors out and test them by applying voltage momentarily. If they don't work, clean em in some carb cleaner type solution.

Play with the avc a bit...Maybe double check the install..

I was thinking the starter but Dont know what else it could be but the "tuning" job you did

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everything is hooked up properly. It did idle... for a couple seconds. I haven't been able to "TUNE" becuase the car won't start and there isn't enough juice for me to keep on playing then trying again. I'm hopeful that it is just a matter of getting the AFC right. Thanks for all the replies guys.

what type of voltage? Take a 9v battery and see if it clicks or what?

O.K. Car is idling right now. Definately rougher than before. There is also a loud ticking sound. When I rev it a lil' I can feel it being rough. Don't think one of the injectors isn't working i.e. one cylinder lean? p.s. I also have poly mounts which contribute to the roughness. Car is at -50% right now. Rough. What do you think?

Take the injectors out, and use that 9v battery. Don't apply for more than a couple tenths of a second at a time. Sounds like they need to be cleaned. (ticking caused by being dirty)

When I did the reinstall, I poured some regane into the chamber. I also WD-40'd the 450s and poured the rest of the regane into the tank. After it got up to operating temp the ticking went away. Sounds normal. Took it for a spin. Experienced the AFC part throttle bucking.

Right now, I'm at -35% across the board. When I get the turbo on, I will tune. I also plan to do up the "blue wire mod" Wierd part is, car feels "quicker", probably just my head... This part throttle bucking isn't cool tho...

fyi: I've got the map limiter and there isn't any part throttle bucking. I wonder why its different than the afc hack.

did you check to see if your spark plug wires may be crossed? just maybe?

Probably have the plugs fouled with gas, which was making the starting hard. You wash the plugs with enough gas and they are junk - might want to pop another set in there.

If you're trying to use that ECU with the wack *** chip I burnt you, it's stuck in limp home mode and is causing the problems. Your original PR4 should work fine though.
