Help turbo ls smokes when warm
Hey guys im stumped
I got a b18b from an engine depot
Brand new headgasket, valve seals, turbo is rebuilt so on and so fourth
Now when car is cold it doesnt smoke a bit, but when it is warmed up it smokes a lot not so much at idle bbut when driving
I checked the oil the level hasnt budged, the coolant level is still fine
Its pouring out the exhaust and catch can filter but the catch can isnt filled with any sort of oil
The intercooler piping is dry.
Pulled the plugs there not wet a lil black on the tips but thats all
Its like a whiteish colored smoke but smells more like gas than anything
Ive searched fourms for a lil but cant really find much of anything
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Re: Help turbo ls smokes when warm
Sounds like it could be vacuum related. Make sure you are not building up pressure in the crankcase.
It could also be a bad seal on the turbine size but that wouldn't explain why its coming out the catch can.
White = water. Blue = oil. Whiteish = Maybe both. Did you check the deck and head before replacing the head gasket?
