help plz. sounds like fuel cut after nitrous installed
hopefully i can get some quick help here. i have a b18ls with a fuel cell and walbro 255 pump. setting up a 55 shot on it wet.
here's my problem. car ran fine yesterday. drove it around for like an hour or so. installed the nitrous setup and now without even touching the nitrous the car seems to hit a fuel cut between 3-5k when i floor it. all we did was tap into the fuel line between the fuel filter in the engine bay and the fpr used a barbed t fitting. we thought maybe the t fitting we were using was too narrow so we swapped out for a bigger one. same problem. i cant think of anything we did that woulda caused this? is there a better place to tap into the fuel line at or something?

DO IT ON ALL FOURS
Re: help plz. sounds like fuel cut after nitrous installed
1.) You are in the wrong forum.
2.) Sounds like a ghetto setup.
3.) You didn't provide what type of kit it is or provide any pictures of how you plumbed everything other than the obvious mistake of "T"ing into the fuel line.

how is forced induction the wrong forum? check around before you start that nitrous is n/a not forced induction bs.
a ghetto setup? thanks. but i'm sure it'll get the job done and thats all i need it for.
in my first post it says "if you need pics i can post some up. " figured maybe it was an easy answer for someone (obviously not you)
what kind of kit is it? as stated in the post its a 50 shot of nitrous. what brand is it? doesnt matter cuz i'm not using progressive injection or wide open throttle or any of the bs safety stuff. just a strait wet shot of nitrous bottle solenoid fogger intake. t into fuel line solenoid fogger intake.
is there a better way to get fuel then t'ing in?
i posted this to ask for help. not for you to try to flame me to get your posts up. stop bein a jerk and maybe post some usefull info. thanks.

-is your fuel solenoid leaking cause extra fuel to get sucked in through the nozzle?
Using a barbed 't' is ghetto. It has 40+ psi, and could leak fuel in the bay... fire hazard. The correct way would be to get a cheap obx/ebay fuel rail (or used brand name) and use the extra port to get your fuel.

pix on the way. i tapped into a line between the fuel filter in engine bay, and the fuel pressure regulator. stock fpr. didnt mess with it at all. called my local shop mechanic today that helped drop the motor in and he says it could be the distributor goin out. i'm not plannin on keepin this motor in the car through the winter, so i just need the car runnin right so i can spray some nitrous and end the summer with a bang.

well first off, you might want to replace that hose. its clearly not rated for fuel injection pressures.
are your plugs fouled out? did you even replace them with a colder plug?

yes replaced with colder plugs, started hitting fuel cut before i even sprayed. i had a steel braided line hooked up but the t fitting it hooked up to had a thinner flow through part so i replaced it with a bigger t fitting (pictured) and the hose i'm using atm is fuel injection hose. so it shouldnt have any prob holding up.
also after driving the car for about 45 mins we couldnt find any leaks at all. no fuel anywhere.
