Help- Oil inlet fitting on Precision/GT 3071 Turbo
Ok- my last turbo (T04B/ V1) finally let go from running w/o oil (long story).
I didn't like it running with the B18B I have now, so I got this new unit, but I can't figure out how to run the oil line into the oil housing- the new turbo uses an inverted flare connection, not NPT. I have an inverted flare to -3 AN fitting, but it's straight, not 90 deg like before.
I've been to a brake specialty shop, and went through like 100 fittings, I haven't found a 90 deg IF fitting, or adapter. How does everone else do this? I could:
1. Clock the ceneter so the oil inlet comes out the front (this would be bad for drainage)
2. Use a hard pipe line to get out from under the manifold
3. Connect the oil feed through the #1/#2 runner (HOT!)
Any ideas?
BTW: Props to inline pro for a FANTASTIC manifold

Put some exhaust wrap around the ports that will be close tothe line and run it str8 up or check out tuner toys for some fittings and try and steer it way. All i can think of

Re: Help- Oil inlet fitting on Precision/GT 3071 Turbo (truesleeper)
instead of going between 1 and 2. wouldnt it be easier if you came in from the other side of the turbo closer to the block? i know it would be kinda hard to get it in there. but just put it on before u put the manifold on. thats the other solution to it i guess. good luck
