Default Help with my 300whp build! ..

Hi everyone, Im not exactly "new" to HT but I just now started posting

B16A SiR-II swap
Bone stock motor
T3/T4 snail with .48 a/r Drag mani, Intercooled
Stock cams, springs, retainers, ect
Stock pistions(10:4:1), rods, ect~
Rc 750s, walbro 255hp, chipped p28, 93 oct. pump gas

This car is my pride and joy and would like to see it running like a champ 20~ years from now without any major rebuilds. Looking to make 300whp on a very safe tune. Now, with this kit from turbonetics, ive seen 2 b16s with this exact same kit make 250-268whp on 8-9 psi boost. With a little bolt on mods and power steering removed, I think i can hit 300whp hurdle with 12psi.

Now since this car is my baby and want her to last long and run strong, what modifications do I need to do to the bottem end to last. Will be a weekend beater with WOT blasts no longer than 15-20 secs. With a GOOD tune could I run the bottem end stock on 300whp? What other mods should I strongly consider? Headstuds? Rodbolts? Ive searched other setups making 300-350whp on a stock bottem end for months with everything still in mint condition. All in the tune?

Any other questions about my setup, please ask. Im ready to get this project on the road!

Reliability definently comes down to the tune. What program will you be using and who will be tuning the car?

My bone stock GSR is still in top notch shape after a year and half of being turbocharged, I'm on my second setup...third turbo...and drive it at 320w daily. Compression test last week yielded 220 across the board. I don't get on it every chance I get, but I do "enjoy" it at the track .

You shouldn't have a problem making 300 with your setup, I'd look into getting a different exhaust manifold due to the drag's wastegate placement.

Car will be tuned by Jeff Deskins of Ride Revolution in Johnson city TN. Hes very familiar with Crome from what I hear from the boys up there.

Can I ask why you're on you're third turbo? Just to make a different power curve or is it because something messed up? Getting on it a couple times on the weekend isnt near as punishing to the engine as track driving where engine speeds dont see below 5000rpm for 30~ mins.

I heard the drag mani only creeps bad at higher (18-20) psi. They are THICK and made with cast iron. Hopfully wont crack from the turbo weight since its walls are quite beefy. and the cast iron is better aganist heat than a steel mani. When I hook up my boost gauage, If i notice any creep at all, I'll try to find the problem elsewhere before i switch out the mani. Im 16 years old making 6.00/hr. I cant exactly drop 800~ into a new mani so easily.

I'd really like to see more ppls setups with 300whp stock B series. Preferably ones that have been boosted for some time.
