help motor wont crank over with turbo and what to do if im running too lean or rich
i just installed my turbo and im having problems cranking over my motor. i was able to crank it over the first time, then the second time i tried i was leaking fuel from the one of the fuel lined connected to the fmu (near the fuel rail). i fixed that problem and yet im having troubles cranking it over. how much psi should the fuel filter be reading.
also, when i was able to crank it over the a/f ratio was reading lean then rich once i rev it up.
im running a inline fuel pump and fmu

first of all, get rid of that fmu, send your computer out to get a chip or have someone come and tune it. You should be getting anywhere from 40-45psi, it's not the fuel filter....also your a/f ratio isn't going to be very accurate until the engine gets to operating temperature.

i need to run fmu for awhile until i can find someone who can tune near me.
now my a/f just jumps back and forth even when its warmed up. one more thing...for the a/f gauge you run the o2 wire to D14 for a p28 right?

he's right about the a/f gauge, it is trash. try taking out the fmu and the inline fuel pump and run the stock ecu and stock injectors. That should be enough to get the car started and idle. You can even limp around on it until you get a real tune but dont try going into boost with the stock fuel set up
