Default help me diagnose the headgasket leak... AGAIN

I can never get this head gasket to seal. I've got a b18c... I just rebuilt it. Decked block, resurfaced head. New head gasket (it was a p30 gasket, but it lined up perfectly with my old p72 gasket). ARP headstuds, and I had them in before I blew the motor, so they had the 10 head cycles and the retoqrue following thatr. I'm getting oil from the corner were is says b18c, and I can seeit where the block meets the head (if I'm under the car) in front of hte block, (the side where the dipstick is). I torque it to spec, in helms order. Any idea?

I will retorque it tomorrow (first time since rebuild). If that is the problem, then will it be screwed even if I reqortue it because oil has already seeped past it?

whoa I had the same problem before. Not sure of the solution though

Did you shorten the dowels after you milled and decked the block?

no I didn't..... is that required?

Since the 2 times I've had the head off, I've removed 14 thousandths between the block and head.

anyone else have to do this to their dowel pins?

Are p30 headgaskets supposed to be differenent that p72 ones? I used a p30, but it seemed to line up perfectly with my old gasket

Is there some fundamental difference between the p30 and p72 hg's that I overlooked?
