Default Help with intake piping on my turbo '00 civic ex

I got the greddy turbo kit for the '92-'95 civic on my '00 civic ex. Everything bolts up fine except for the intake piping. It rubs in the passenger fender. Should I get custom piping or is there a kit that I can get. Also, I still need an intercooler and wondered which one fits my car. Thanks!

how bad does it rub? it rubs the hole, right? if it's not too bad, you could just slip on a rubber connector and clamp it there to act as a "band-aid" and help cushion the noise. it might get cut away after awhile, though. But a custom piece would be better choice.

Thats a good idea. It also rubs the AC pipe underneath it so I have a shop rag there temporarily so it doesnt rub a hole through it. So how would I get a custom pipe? Is there a good place you know of? Thanks

you can have a muffler shop custom bend you one. Just make sure they use mandrel bends. That's the route I took because mine rubbed, too.

or you could get some piping from JC Whitney and do it yourself. You could then weld the custom piping together if you know how to weld (i don't) or try and clamp it together with a few rubber connectors. If you don't blow too much psi, they'll probably stay together. Or you can cut the pipes, line them up how they need to be, mark them, and then take it to a muffler shop to have them weld it according to your markings.

Yea, I think I'm going to look into the JC whitney pipes cause I did a search and a lot of people seem to have good luck with them, thanks a lot for your help guys.
