Ok i'm painstakingly taking over 3 days doing my clutch install and the axles are now going back in

i can get into the transmission side easily.. but when i try to put it in the HUB brake side, it's FUCKED NOT GOING IN

WTF!!! why is the tolerance of the splines so damn close, i tried using the spray loosen stuff and it won't go in.

how can you push it in? like you can't hammer it anywhere and you can't really force it in!!! help!! this is for a 2000 civic ex coupe

How is it not going in?

Just line up the grooves and pop it through. Might take some patience and play, but I've never heard of any problems otherwise.

patience is the key....

you can't be forcing it in. It's like Sex. A girl wouldn't let you go near her "thang" if you're trying to force the damn thing in. Try taking it slow and gentle...play around with it until it interlocks then slowly slide it threw....

Put the axle through the hub first instead of the transmission. Once you've put the splines through the hub (don't put it in the transmission yet), bolt up the two camber bolts. Then put the axle into the transmission. I use to do it your way where you put the axle in the transmission first then through the hub. However, the passenger side on my car is a bitch to put in if I do it this way. Hope this helps.
