HELP!! How can you ID a REAL garrett turbo by housings?

You can't ID a garrett turbo just by the housings. I say that because its easy enough to just swap housings from a garrett turbo to some junk ebay turbo. The center section would be your best bet for authenticating the turbo.
EDIT: I'm not even sure I answered your question but to me it seems that your asking whether or not you can tell its a garrett turbo just by looking at the housings. For instance precision uses garrett center sections but have there own exhaust and comp housings.
