Default Help with Drag kit + Oil Cooler

I wanted to install an oil cooler when I install my turbo. Is there room between the intercooler and the raditor to install an oil cooler? Here is the link to what I was thinking of. http://www.sportauto.cc/Oil-Cooler/a...ooler_pics.htm

Yeah, right now I'm going through the same thing but my engine is out right now. I have a fluidyne radiator and a big a$$ intercooler too. lol I'll make it fit somewhere.

I have the fluidyne raditor also, just not installed. I need a little more clear space in the engine bay than Honda gives.

Anyone have a comment on the amount of room? I would like to get the oil cooler this weekend and would like to have an idea about the amount of room I will have before I take everything apart.

TIA.

You could always try and put it in the fender area.

I have the B&M 48 row oil cooler and I was able to fit it in between the IC (3.5" thick) and the AC condensor, but it took some hacking the bracket fabrication. I later moved it to behind the radiator on the passenger's side. This requires buying an electric fan from the local auto store (60.00) but is way easier and gives your AC no heat soaked air.

I thought about the fender area but do not know if it will get enough airflow back there. I think I am just going to order it and try. If I have to move later so be it (I am trying to avoid this as I hate doing things twice, always better to do it right the first time). The A/C in the Acura sucks already, I can't imagine it will get much worse.

Good luck Brother!

Putting that cooler in my car was a chore....but well worth it. You FI guys are in need of serious space with a radiator and intercooler. I didn't have any clearce issues except the power steering loop.........if you have any questions....give an IM

Ciao'
