lean out the map some? Just a guess since your plugs are dripping in gas.
Really though is this a basemap? Have you fun this map for a while? Need more info on the setup. If the map is tuned then we need to look elsewhere.

untuned map. leaning out the map doesnt help much, i think it has something to do with some offset and cranking options in fuel tools. i have tryed a couple different settings cant seem to find what works.
also tried leaning out the first few colums on the map that didnt really help either.
maybe its the map it self.
i found what was claimed to be a stock y8 map, is that what i should be using?
if not what map should i be using.. im just trying to get it to run (right) so we can start tuning it. also i ran fuel and boost tools.
car started at 35 psi of fuel.
im running crome on a 92 civic ex comp.
used to run a shitty afc hack

wide band wont help if the car wont start. i can pull the plugs and see that there is too much gas. ill put the wideband on it after it starts and idles so i dont ruin it. then ill tune it

take it to someone that knows how to tune ,and you would figure it out!!
you have to program your new injectors to your ecu,had same problem here myself 2 years ago,do it right once or do it ten million times, just do it right!

is the map rescaled for the 450's? if you are just trying to run a stock y8 map then you are getting way to much fuel from the 450's. xenocron has a really nice how-to on making basemaps. you should check it out.
also as you mentioned, adjusting the offset seems to be the recommended method for idling a basemap, with leaning out the map being a last resort type of thing.

map was rescaled. every time i open the fuel multiplier though it say i have 424 for the injector size and 45 psi for the fuel.
if i change the fuel pressure in the multiplier it, it changes the injector size.

if u scaled the injectors for the 450cc the car should start up(u did put 450cc in the "new Injector Size" box not the "old injector size" box right?)
r u using a stock map sensor? do u have crome prO? can u datalog the map sensor values?
upload any of xenocrons 450cc programs (dont have to be a Y8 map right off the bat). check to see if the car will start with any of these programs. if it does, just tune out the fuel and put in the Y8 timing map

put ur stock injectors in and see if it runs stock, and if it doesnt, then its the map.
Y8's seems hard to get things right with in crome and uber.

I'd say 60% of the Crome maps I've made needed about 50-100% more fuel in the idle region so that it wouldn't idle dead lean/kick off almost immediately. I know of others with similar results. If taking fuel away doesn't help, then add fuel. If that doesn't help, you have a timing issue, either mechanical or electrical.

Sounds mechanical to me, you sure you're injectors aren't stuck open?
I am still yet to tune a car that doesn't start first try on DSM 450s.

yes, resistor box has been in and working for some time now i used to run an afc hack.
and to the best of my knowelge the map is in and wired correctly. i left the original connector on and tried to start the car with the stock sensor... same thing happened.
i just need to play around a bit
