Default help building my turbo setup please...

ok so heres the deal, im currently trying to build a motor for 400whp and would like to get some input as to what components to buy. so this is what i have so far:

BLOCK: currently at golden eagle for sleeves - what bore size should i go?
RODS: Eagle Rods
PISTONS: what brand and what type of pistons - flat or dished?
BEARINGS: ACL or OEM HONDA?
CRANKSHAFT: GSR knife-edge crank
OILPAN: Moroso
HEADSTUDS: ARP

and i think about purchasing a head package through HT member iTunedUSA.com
and heres the link of the headpackage. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1334654

what size injectors should i use? i will most likely be running a hondata of some sort.

please let me know what you guys think...

From what most say, @ 400hp your stock sleeve should be good. The bigger bore should help your torque from what I understand (I'm prolly wrong......I'm used to it). The sleeves would just seem to be some insurance. Injectors, I would go with maybe ~750cc/min-800cc/min to b safe. Bearings, I just had my block built with Federal Mogul race bearings. I'll let you know how they work out. I went with eagle rods as well. Search around for opinions on the pistons (personally I went with SRP[JE]), but there are a lot of informative threads and a lot of good piston brands out there. Oh, btw I went with 9:1 comp. GL, the first setup like this is a real learning process. My next setup will be better I'm sure.

Is this a GSR block? I'm assuming it is cause of your user name.

For the block I would recommend Benson, which you can get through earl. You should look into a 83mm or maybe even a 84mm bore size.

Pistons I would recommend CP cause I've heard nothing but good things about them. 9.0:1 pistons would be the best IMO.

For the crank, I dont know about the knife edging, but maybe you should get an LS crank instead of a GSR crank? it would bump your displacement up a little. And combined with your increased bore you could be looking at a 1.9L or 2.0L block. Also if you go with an LS crank it will raise your displacement and also your CR. With a 83mm B18C, LS crank and CP 9.0:1 pistons my CR went up to 9.4:1.

For injectors you could go with some saturated 750cc's or just go with some peak-n-hold 1000cc's.

If you have the budget and plan to up the power beyond 400hp, then it would be adviseable to sleeve it from the get go, seeing as the block will be taken apart for pistons and rods anyway. If sleeving, I would go 84mm, Darton or Benson. Injectors anything above 750cc would suffice. A HP in -tank pump as well. CP pistons. Compression between 9:1 to 10:1 would be good. A good standalone ecu should really top the list.

yes at this very moment, the block is at golden eagle for new sleeves. i think ive decided to go with Arias dished piston at 9:1 compression. any other opinions?
