Default heat issue, some options please

So I'm running a topmount T4 35r that makes 550 on pump, I'm using a turbo blanket(sock) & am looking into some ways others have gotten around this. It's not a daily but when I drive it I have to run the heater to extract the heat from the bay & that just sucks.
BTW thinking of cutting the hood but the car is just so damn clean & such a sleeper as is.
thanks

well alot has to do with the rad not getting any air with the IC in front of it, but I think more so that the heat has no where to escape from the bay. So I've run a half rad which gets no air & crammed as much power adders under the hood as I can, hmmm not good right?
So even with a duct & traffic I'd still be making stored heat.

im also having a little trouble. just heatsoaking everything under my hood.

i heatwrapped my downpipe, got a higher cfm fan and wound up spacing up the hood in the back where it bolts on. it looks a little silly having the hood sit up an inch or so but it worked a little so im happy.

im also planning on getting my manifold coated to help

What fan are you running?
The SPAL 13" fan seems to cure a lot of over heating issues.
