Default headgasket thickness questions...did search

OK, so cometic offers 5 different thicknesses in their headgaskets.

.036
.043
.057
.098
.112

What is the stock size on a B18B? Is there a formula to figure how much the differences in thickness affect the C/R? Thanks.

That is up to the person who does your work. Ask your machine shope once its done but it shouldnt be very much larger than 45cc.

Arturbo,
Where it says, oem-3, 2 or 1. Does that mean you can break down the OEM head gasket or do you buy a 2 or 1?

OEM B18C headgasket is 3 layer, I believe. Some people omit 1 or 2 of the layers to raise compression.

I think they are saying you can divide the 3 layers to each layer. I think its .01" per each OEM layer. FYI, cometic uses a 3 layer just like stock...
