Has Block been line honed/bored?
From what i can remember from previous motors i have taken apart/put together i never remember seeing cross hatch marks on the main caps. It looks pretty much exactly like cross-hatching on a new cylinder wall. Is that what journals look like when they have been bored/honed?
It is an old GE block that has been sleeved and o-ringed. I called GE and they keep no record of past builds. Doesn't seem like money was spared in the build so it probably has been line honed. It had JE pistons, crower I-beams etc.

Ohhhh yes, this motor had the bloody hell beat out of it for about 5 years. The waterpump let go at 9K and threw timing belt. So it was time for a rebuild anyways.

That is an understatment. That car has run extremely well with just the regular oil changes and new spark plugs every 25 or so passes. Now put the damn thing back together!
