Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?
I'm wanting to do a coupound turbo setup on my 97 rs integra. The motor is a b18b with h beam rods and cp turbo pistons headstuds and a stock pr-8 head. I have a gt28 turbo and a gt35r. Im wanting to do compounds for spool time and lots of low end torque. any opinions would be appreciated.

i also plan on an aem water meth kit and only about 15 psi. maybe 20. psi isnt anything im just trying to figure a decent pressure number with an efficient air charge.

I want some killer spool time though. my last integra had ls-v with a precision 60-1 turbo and it just took til almost vtec to start making 4ish pounds of boost.. im not trying to break records by any means. id just really like to have fast spool time for a daily driver... get some of the benefits of a turbo. Torque

Your going to spend alot of extra money & time when all you really NEED is a properly sized turbo and maybe alot more displacement, spool time can be altered/increased by which combination of turbo and exhaust manifold you use...

i have the turbos. and a cast inline pro manifold. i guess ill be doing it just to do it then. i figured id get some support. torque is something hondas dont have. and a proper matched compound setup would provide that.

compensates for the torque loss. Did you own a boosted car before ?

I would lovee too see this..
I always wanted to do a compound turbo but not for spool time for another idea I have.
I remeber reading about a sink trap desighn for the down pipe making more power.
If your going to do this please make a build thread my advice don't ask many questions here. If your not buying the same parts everyone else is they look down on you. Just don't cut corners doing this.
Good luck.

I am doing a coumpound turbo with a Garrett gt2056 and a Precision 6262 and 2 46 mm precision wastegates. Here some pictures of the custom manifold.

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?
powergoal is about 400 give or take. with at least 350lb ft of tq. yes i have owned a boosted integra. it was also an rs. a 94 with an ls vtec. rods pistons and balanced rotating assembly. i had it on 18 psi tuned with s300. made just shy of 500. but i didnt like the turbo lag. ive had compounds on both of my powerstrokes. i recently took the setup off my recent stroke to break in the single. my old lady has an 09 ss tc cobalt. im not new to turbos. beings im a diesel mechanic. i will post a complete build thread. ive never seen a honda make torque nearly equivelant to its hp numbers.. suure u can spool a large turbo at later rpms... although given a good load like maybe some weight cann u keep it spooled?? thats where the compounds come in. which is why i want to do a compound setup. its a very much denser air charge. easier to get torque the denser the air. and its like a circle of free hp. as long as i can keep the small(high pressure) turbo spooled.. it will take care of the larger(low pressure) turbo. ive put alot of thought into this. i dont want anti lag to spool my turbo. not that it isnt efficient. but if someone can show me a single turbo on a honda that can free rev and make boost ill buy it and set my compound theory aside.... i dont know it all by any means but i want the benefits of even having a turbo. being able to go through the gears and the response be right there waiting on my foot... i dont want to hold the breaks and wait for it to build boost. i want it right there waiting on me, i dont see how people couldnt agree. i wont be cutting any corners. im going for a clean *** look as well. i have completely tucked my engine bay aside from brake lines. i just pulled out the front end to flip my car and spray the under carriage. im trying to do this completely right... as good as it can be. i was only looking for support. also i have worked with many friends hondas as well. builta few motors myself. im not a complete newbie to this inline 4 game

You should look into the silver surfer. 500 whp capable but sees 20 Psi by 5k. Have never read a complaint from someone who's bought one. It's a custom garret unit. You can pm theshodan about it. There going for 850 shipped. There's also a video on YouTube that goes into great detail about it. You could sell both your turbos for more then the surfer cost new. And save a boatload of cash on the entire setup.
And the 60-1 is a horrible turbo as far as response goes.

Can you do it... Sure .. Is it cost effective for a Honda other then show.. I'm not putting down your idea just wouldn't be practical on a street car.
Some lag is good other wise you will just spin and keep spinning
