Default Has anyone heard of a Rayjay turbo?

Just curious if anyone has seen or heard of a Rayjay turbo? I have my hands on one and would like to do a custom install on my Accord, but I haven't been able to find any info on them. I would appreciate any info to websites, books or opinions on them if you have them! Thanks!

Turbonetics is the parent company of Rayjay. and If Im not mistaken they are used for air crafts. Im not 100% sure on that.

yeah turbonetics bought Rayjay, and they do turbos for aircraft. what do you know about the turbo you have? do you think it will match well to your motor?

Personally...i think you are better off going to somebody like TEC (Turbocharger Engineering Corp in golden, CO) or XS Engineering (somewhere in cali i think) and ask them to make you something custom.

I bought my t3/t04e from TEC..i told them what type of power i wanted, what type of engine i had, what boost levels i was thinking of running and they whipped up my turbo for me. Its an awesome turbo too...aahh yea!

Thanks for all the feedback! Sounds kinda odd that this turbo is made by a company that makes parts for planes! This turbo came off of a early 80's 280zx, I suppose it was factory. I haven't taken any numbers off of it yet, when I do I will post them if that will help out any. MatT3T4 said this thing will spool up fast, what are the pro's and con's of that? Once again, thanks for all the Help so far!
