has anyone experienced boost gauges being incorrect????
just dropped some hondata in my car this weekend and i am running the stock MAP.
now i am boosting 14psi but am not hitting any boost cut or tripping a MAP code with the stock unit.
could my gauge be off????
anyone had a similar problem??
its just a regular autometer, about 1.5 years old

wouldnt it depend on where the vacuum source is,or whether the car is intercooled or not? reason im asking doesnt the intercooler minus 1 to 2psi difference from what the turbo is making?

Yes, but most people realize their gauge sucks when it reads 1 or 2 psi when the car is off.

See sig. Greddy boost gauge btw.
It is more or less associated with the stock map translating a voltage into boost. From what i've read, it just doesn't directly translate. I personally have run 14psi through mine and not hit the blinky blinky map. It has seen about 16psi once during a mishap installing an EBC.

My autometer was off a couple of pounds... Compared to what my Map sensor and hondata were reading... My boost cut used to be set at 9psi and my autometer boost gauge would read all of the way to 12psi before hitting ignition cut. So I don't know if it is my boost gauge or if it is my map and hondata setup.

mine seems to be dead on after i re did my vac lines .
vac manifold helps to keep things consistant over the standard "T's" that people use
platinum.

i was using my data logging with my wideband and my boost on the stock map was like 9-10 psi
but reading 15 psi on my boost gauge
and i am running a obd0 stock map sensor
