BTW... Pocketlogger I was speaking about pocket logger's features i dunno bout the Auterra one. Also both Pocketlogger and Auterra say you need to hook up the cable to the "OBD2 connector"... where the hell is that?

Just wish they made one of those for a OBD0 car!!
I already have a Handspring Visor, so all I would need is the damn software...and hookup's.
I am trying to get my Mom's freind(computer geek) to build me a data logger for the visor. Let's hope it works out!!

one of my technicians has one for his handspring visor that unfortunately, only works on obd 2 cars. but obd 1 is pretty easy if you have a paper clip handy

This is what I'm thinking...
We need to find a programmer. One that can translate the voltage put out by the sensor, and interpit that into a specific value, and have it displayed on the PDA.
I would think that task would be cake for any good programmer.
Then when the software is ready for a OBD0 and OBD1 car's...all that would be needed is some wiring.
Sound's like it could be pretty cheep, and easy if we had enough people behind it to get it going.

I also like the idea of having a little holder for my Visor near my point of vison in the car.
That way, I could keep tab's on all the engine vital's at a quick glance, and still have it be able to record data so I can go over it later.

Exactly.... this pocket logger is basically for us fuckt odb2 people where hondata costs thousand+...... you odb1 people are lucky with that respect...
Our options are to convert for a few hundred THEN go hondata.... or do another standalone like EMS or this thing.
