Has anyone ever done this?
I was wondering if anyone has had a divided turbo with an open manifold and ported or knife
edged the divider of the turbo? Seems like a good idea so I was just looking for some
input on this.
Thanks H-T!

almost everyone that uses holsets (most all are divided) on a open mani port the divider. I've never seen before/after results, but i'm sure it would be less turbulent than a flat casting right in the middle of flow.

grinding on the housing isnt going to decrease spool time unless you consider 50rpm a gain, my friend ran a divided turbo on an undivided manifold and spool was slow and lazy.

the only way it would be any better than a open housing would be to use a "quick spool valve"
The divided housings on a open mani spool like a huge open housing, but make power of tiny housing. Sucks both ways.

Running open housing turbos on divided manifolds is fairly common and not that detrimental to performance. Doing the opposite way is not the same story. To use a divided turbine housing you should be using a divided manifold.

So would it be better to just try a .68a/r T4 open housing? I have a InlinePRO dual drilled
manifold and I have both .68 open T4 and .84 divided T3. The .84 is currently on the car
and makes full boost at 5K but creeps up 2 psi higher in rpm. I would at least like to try
to sharpen the divider in the .84 just to see if it increases flow and helps with the lag.
