i'm thinking about changing the gasket on my '00 prelude. just wondering if you guys would advise to do so, or if it's a hassel to change?

yes leave it alone a thicker headgasket will have more of a tendency to blow and have sealing problems. stock gasket

If you need lower compression get the pistons, the head gasket is kinda important, retard the timing or something for a quick fix

Re: has anyone ever changed a H22 gasket for lower compression? (boostcontroller)
I was told that compared to civcs and integras, preludes have a higher tendency of wearing down. i'm planning to boost on average of 5lbs, and no more than 7lbs EVER.
if anyone has ever blown a H22 motor, can you let me know how many lbs you were boosting and which part(s) wore out first?
because i'm getting to the point were i'm thinking about taking the kit off
