Default has anyone blown their engine @ 10psi or less w/correct fuel management?

I have my wastegate at 7 right now, and it seems to be doing fine. rich at WOT with hack and 450's. so, if my fuel supply is fine, is it ok to bump it up a little or do i need to build? let me know. thanks!

I run 8-10 daily on the hack. I have a stock D16Y8.

You don't have correct engine management, though. You have no control over your ignition timing. If you don't want to risk it, leave it at 7psi.

You really need to get the car on the dyno to tell if fuel delivery is correct. Guessing is just going to break things.

ditto on what dustin said. dont get boost happy unless you plan on having it tuned on the dyno, thats where you will gain the most power at.

would smc + 450s and a digital 6 count as somewhat of good fuel management?

I'm not familiar with all the features of the digital 6, but a 6btm might be more useful since it retards timing with boost...(unless the digital 6 does that)...also, wouldn't that whole set-up be about the price of a stand-alone, or more?

dig 6 + cap - 230
smc - 100
injectors - 90
techedge kit - 100
vx o2 sensor - free
-------------------
520

hondata -500(right?)
injectors- 90
tuning - kinda pricey
-----------------------
at least 750 and id have to drive to someone who could tune it for me.

and the digital 6 does do retard per lb.

Digital 6 has two-step rev limiter, I think.
