has any one ever done or seen a front mount on a vortech kit?
i was interested in putting a front mount on my vortech s/c, has anyone ever done it before? is it possible?
i was planning on making a bracket to clock my s/c down, and i have a buddy of mine that has a fmic with the inlet and the outlet on the same side
is this possible? is it worth the effort? how efficient will it be?

Yes. Yes. The same as it would be on a turbo setup.

i was just worried about the clearance, the s/c sits right where the stock air box was, pointed right at the tb, i didnt know if there was room to run the plumbing,
anyone have any pics?

if you can clock the "compressor housing" i dont see why not.
the procharger kit comes with a fmic. do a search for "nov22 dyno day" there's a red gsr w/the procharger kit.

thats cool, i wish i could see it installed on the car. its deffinetly a different setup than the vortech. the vortech has a driveshaft that runs across the front of the head. right above the tranmission. ill have to look at it more tomorrow, to see if i can fab up a bracket to clock the compressor downward or towards the front of of the car.
like this. BTW THIS IS NOT MY CAR
