Had tranny problems, not sure i should treat the gears for strength
Has anybody heard of the process of metal treatment that i'm not sure of the name but is it worth doing it. I resently broke my tranny when i opened it up notice that my counter shaft and final drive were broken, i was thinking of sending the new parts to get treated along with the gears. Thanks for any help

Now do you think is worth doing the process?. I talked to a couple of people and some say yes do it, the other half say that it makes the metal too brittle and that the chances of breaking are worst.
