H22A4 Injector Type Installation Inquiry
so i have been trying to do a little research on injectors for my 98 honda prelude. h22a4 with a t3/t4 turbo. running 7psi stock internals (for now) with hondata s300 v3 . . I am wanting to upgrade to a bigger set of injectors. right now i have the stock 290cc injectors. i have looked at 450 dsm injectors, rdx injectors, bosch and some plug N play ebay ones. my question is what all do i need to do to make either one of those injectors work? i know i have saturated injectors and id like to keep it that way. i dont want to have to install a resistor box or mess with that unless needed. i saw one thread where they pulled the blue piece out of the stock clips i think to put in rdx, but they also had to buy a euro fuel rail. is their anyway or any injector that i can just plug N play with? if i get saturated injectors from bosch how do i wire those up? can someone truly set me right on what injector requires what to run on my 98 obd2 boosted prelude.? i will be running 10 psi here soon. i think 450 will be enough, everything i saw though was on h22 swaps and 1996 or earlier accords and crap like that, couldnt find a lot of info on a 98 h22a4 obd2 prelude. their is stuff on like a 96 obd1 prelude but ecu matters when it comes to what injectors right? really hope someone can clear me up a little or alot, please and thank you!.

PSI is completely irrelevant when we have no idea which turbo you are running. Also sounds like did not tune your car since you have no HP number and keep talking about PSI numbers which mean nothing without other information.
get some bosch style injectors, IE. FIC, ID ETC. you can either get an adapters for a complete plug and play or get the pigtails and solder them in which is my preferred method, then get a proper tune none of this will work without a retune

its a knock off turbo, cx racing, t3 t04e compressor is .60 and exhaust is a .63. im roughly at 250 hp, wanting to be upwards of 300 plus. as well what does the IE, FIC, ID ETC stuff mean? how do i know what bosch injectors are saturated so i dont have to wire in a resistor box? or can i used the rdx injectors and be okay without a resistor box?

You need to have it tuned, period. The injectors will not deliver the correct amount of fuel otherwise. The abbreviations are all brands. FIC is Fuel Injector Clinic. ID is Injector Dynamics, etc. Most, if not all, Bosch ev14s are saturated if I'm not mistaken.

4 Honda Acura OBD2 fuel injector wiring adapters to Bosch 2200cc ID2000 FIC2150 | eBay
literally took 10 seconds to go on ebay type in what I was looking for and bam! the internet is quite magical
BTW your car most likely wont even startup without a retune to accommodate the different size injectors

What 2kdrift typed was for 2200cc injectors, which, in case you weren't aware, you don't need. So, you'd purchase the parts from whatever source he listed, (adapter clips, injectors, and o-rings) and install from there. Your dad should be able to give you a hand with this. BUT. We don't recommend you do the full install until you're ready to retune the car. The car will NOT start without the software being re-calibrated with a change in dead times in order to change the pulse cycle of the injectors. I suggest your tuner do this.
You can drive to the tuner on the old injectors with the new clips still wired up to the harness, and install the actual injectors at the tuner location. OR, install them now, and tow the car to the tuner to re-calibrate and retune.

my bad didnt relize ther were specific to the 2000s either way its based on whatever injector he goes with, either contact the manufacturer directly or find a compatible adapter. Or just buy the pigtails not very difficult to wire those in
