H22A Turbo, What Clutch?
Upgraded my setup and now i'm in the market for a new clutch and was interested to see what everyone else is using.
If you could post up -
What type of clutch your running
What WHP/torque you have
Whats the clutch pedal feel like
Whats the clutch engagement like
Price
Performance
Hopefully this might become a handy resource for others who upgrade or go turbo

Re: H22A Turbo, What Clutch?
I'll start
What type of clutch your running - EXEDY Heavy Duty, Upgraded Pressure, Plate Organic Disc
What WHP/torque you have - 260whp, can't remember torque
Whats the clutch pedal feel like - Almost like stock, slightly heavier
Whats the clutch engagement like - Smooth, almost stock
Price - can't remember
Performance The clutch was great for up to around 240whp, minimal pedal effort and smooth engagement but as power increases over 240, any spirited driving and the clutch slips.

Spec 3+, 535whp, 430wtq, a little heavier than stock, smooth engagement. Had been using a Tilton twin but it was like a light switch for engagement.

Re: H22A Turbo, What Clutch?
I have read alot of mixed reviews on the spec clutches but the spec stage 3+ sounds like it would be pretty well suited to a high hp dd.
Anyone else?
Anyone else?
