H22a turbo blowing out huge clouds of white/blue smoke!!
Whats up HT!
Im sure you guys get,a lot of n00bs like me posting up on here for help....truth is I need help...my h22a turbo is smoking huge clouds of white/blue smoke when I step on it... Im gonna be replacing the oil pan gasket tomorrow because its leaking onto my exshaust... I just looked into my exshaust and there is huge amounts of oil in the exshaust! Obviously oil is getting into the exshaust, just want some advise on what else it could be besides the oil pan gasket leaking onto the exshaust, and I think there is a crack on the exshaust weld and thats how its getting in there... There is huge amounts of oil all the way down to the tip of the exshaust! Any suggestions would be helpful thanks guys! And if any of you are in the orange county/los angeles area, feel free to come by and take a look at it

Here you can see my set up and you can see where the oil pan gasket is leaking onto the down pipe...

cool doesnt sound that hard to fix, just found a crack in the backside of the manifold so might need to do some welding...

check your pcv valve. my bros h22 turbo did the same thing. mad white smoke. lots of oil in exhaust. first thought turbo had bad seals, sent it out to rebuild, still did it
second got restrictor(.065) still did it.
3rd we did a 1" diameter oil return line so oil can leave the turbo freely. still smoked.
after all that, still did it. changed the pcv valve gone. lol
should check it out. and maybe go thru same steps as we did. if not pcv valve.
