h22a fully buiit gt35r or gt40 r ?
ok heres my question i was wondering which turbo is better for my needs ill be mostly racing in the streets and mountains some times track.Which turbo will give me a good spool and goal of 650 whp on race gas and 450 daily driven? GT35r or GT4088r? also what are their spooliin points for a h22a turbo heres my specs:
H22A4 BLOCK
~ Benson sleeved block
~ Benson balanced and micropolished crank
~ CP pistons and rings
~ Pauter rods
~ ACL bearings
~ Balance shaft removal mod (saves 8lbs, picks up 7HP, increases oil pressure and volume)
~ OEM oil pump
~ New thicker gaskets
~ Built By Earl Laskey
HEAD
~ Stage 3
~ PortFlow port & polish
~ SuperTech Stainless Steel nitride coated valves
~ Dual valve springs
~ Titanium retainers
~ Competition 3 angle valve job
~ Surfaced to a mirror like finish and assembly
Custom Equal length Manifold with t4 flange by JP Performance in Santa Ana
~ Tial 44mm Wastegate
~ HKS super sequential Blow off Valve
~ 3inch down pipe
~ HKS boost controller
~ Hondata S300 with all boost options
~ Act 6 puc clutch
~ ALL New Motor Mounts + custom brackets to hold the roaring engine in place. (Literally BOLTED/Chained DOWN)
~ 1000cc Injectors
~ Spearco Boost Gauge
~ 3" piping all the way back leading to a Magnaflow muffler (sounds like a porshe....******* sick)

the 40r or 35r will be perfect for the streets/track.. but that power is nuts on the public.. and is highly unsafe.. u should keep it on the track
either turbos listed for mounting / road racing is very big for that type of driving.. you`ll have HUGE issues with understeer or power coming out of a turn.. will make you lose control in certain situations.. maybe something like 30r or smaller for that kind of driving
but over all i would run a 35r

divided 40r, will have the spool of a 35r almost, and give you a lot more room up top

yeah 40r with a divided manifold will spool about the same... your motor will have no problem spooling that at all
I have a brand new gt4088r $1300 plus paypal charges and shipping, PM me

u still have to choose between the 2.
I dont like how they grouped the 2 together, seeming as they arent the same and they will give u different power and spooling outputs.

Re: (Blind-Fashion)
i had basically the same setup as you with a gt35r 82 and 25-27psi and the car made low 600whp with a mild tune with alot left my choices would be 35r,,,,gt4067 or 88,,,,,t4t67ho all will get your goal reasonably
