H22 Turbo setup opinions
Hey guys, I'm not really a regular user on the FI section but I lurk quite a bit in here. Basically I'm looking for some input on my H22 setup.
A little background:
I've got a 94 Honda Accord with H22A, fully stock. Now, my plan is to buy a bare block and head, build those up and add a turbo to the mix. I'm not the type of guy who is shy of spending money if it's worth it. I'm also the type of guy who does things right, and does them right the first time.
I drive this car daily during the summer and want something that gives me good lower/mid power. After all, it is still just a street car.
Plans are to sleeve the block, balance the crank, upgraded rods, pistons. Then do a mild build on the head. My personal goals are to be somewhere in the 400 WHP range. Basically I'm wondering if I'm crazy to think that I can make 400 WHP, that still has a good quick spool on pump gas.
I've been looking at something like a GT3037 to get me up there, but I'm worried about spool time. Would I just be better off to get something like T3/T4 setup with 57 trim compressor? Or is there a better recommendation somebody can make for me?
Also, curious what people think about bumping up the displacement. I know that H22s aren't exactly the most solid motors in the world and figured I would just leave it as is when it's been sleeved. Any opinions on this?
Was also thinking I should bring down the compression in the engine. What would be the best way to go about this on an H22? I know a ton about NA and raising compression, I assume the same principles be used for a FI application?
I'm sure I'll think of some other questions, but that's all I can think of right now.
Thanks in advance.

H22's make GREAT reliable power when done right.
The gt30 is overkill... I would probably go with a t3/t04s if you are going for more than 400whp. A simple t3 sc61 would definetely get you to your goal while maintaining good spool time.
Stay with a 2.2L displacement and a simple 9.0:1 compression piston will be just fine for your goals.
