H22 turbo hatch.. went to dyno...263.8 whp on stock motor
still have 2.5 inch down pipe but, we put 3 inch exhaust on and finally hit the dyno ......263.8 whp was produced on 9-10 psi...here's a video http://www.tunedbylorange.com/263whp.mpg
Dennis should have 3 inch down pipe fabricated soon for another trip to the dyno

call me a hater, but it won't live long at that boost level. People have proven time and time again, no matter the tune, h22 pistons fail at or above 250whp. They are just that weak. I would lower the boost level down to 7-8psi instead for longevity.

thanks for the advice...I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but our back up motor is in the works so we're gonna squeeze 300 whp out of this motor before we swap in the fully built anyway..
thanks again

i have a customer with a stock h22 that makes 290 whp at 14psi with a t3.it makes that power at 3200rpm and has been that way for quite some time now.he drives it every day and is very hard on it.

you need free flowing exhaust but looks pretty good otherwise.
I bet all that backpressure is killing the power and turning it to torque.

....the y-pipe keeps it pretty free flowing...spools up pretty quickly...no back pressure ...

Preludes come from the factory with rings from two different companies. I can't remember the company names right off hand, but one is better than the other. If you can find a h22 that doesn't burn oil, you can bet it has the good rings. Anyone remember the company names?
