h22 turbo dont want compression to be too low!
Hi guys
Im looking into building up an h22 to run boost of about 10-15PSI. Im going to sleeve the block using Darton Sleeves however I dont want the compression to be too low as I shall be using it on the street. What compression pistons do people recommend I go for?
Thanks

I agree with Anthony and Adi that you ought to go with 9.0:1 Compression on a street application. We have sleeved (Darton) and built alot of H22 solid deck and open deck blocks and I have to say that we have had the best results with JE in reference to install and performance.

Don't get caught up in the "you gotta run 10:1 or higher to have a great street car" fad. 9:1 works great for most people. I'm running 8:1 in a dinky D-series and I'm driving it naturally aspirated with no issues right now.
