Default H22 turbo advice, need help choosing a size.

I have an h22 accord that needs boost STAT because im sick of the slowness. Never thought I would even think about boost. However it is too appealing to put it aside any longer. I know what and where to buy everything with the exception of the turbocharger itself. I have no idea what size to get. I want to buy new but I am really at a loss. I want to run around 6-7-8psi and be fully spooled around 3000rpms. Any help or suggestions or dyno charts also would be awesome. Thanks.

t28 on a h22?? It would spool at 1500, and drop off at 5000rpm. I'd go with a 60-1 turbo on a H22. Maybe even a 62-1.

Even better, but I didn't suggest a GT because of the price. A lot of people can't afford a $1500 turbo. That seems a little big though, I'd have to have a compressor map, and do the two pages of algebra to figure out if it would work good or not. Maybe a GT35R would be good. It would spool up great and at a low rpm, and it would make great top-end power.

... i see you didn't catch my sarcasm lol, it is an 900+++hp turbo that is around $4000, but, I chose the GT35r for my h22..looking for 650 or so.

Full spool by 3000 rpms?

Run a ball bearing t3/to4e with 50 trim comp and .48 ar t3 turbine. I had that on one of my set-ups back in '00 and it was at 15psi by 3000rpms and I had zero traction.

thanks adam and the rest of you guys. could someone explain the sizing system to me? for example, a t3/t4 .57 trim, is the t3 the compressor and the t4 the turbine? and what does .57 mean for sizing?

i agree with this comment...

im using a gt35e 3561e to be exact paid like 860 shipped for it. spools great and makes power...

but i dunno about full spool at 3000 rpm. i get full spool (~19psi) at 4800-5000 and made 504whp and 380tq on pump gas....

you want fast spool get a disco potato

def go GT if you're a baller. but i dont see the need to spend so much for less than 300hp, unless a future build is in the mix w/ higher hp goals.

some cheaper alternatives are...
t3 to4e 57 or 60 trim
or a t3 super 60.

the short time my f22 was turbo'd my t3 to4e 57 trim .60/.63ar had boost started at about 2500, full boost, 6.5psi (.45bar wg spring) at about 3200.
