Youd have to use a T25 GTX3071/76

I would take a look at the gtx3067r as well. its way more turbo than the gt3071 but has excellent spool characteristics

Considering bigG's engine configuration, its hard to tell with much precision which application is the best one for him.

The GTX2876R is a bit more responsive, than the standard GT3071R, but only because its about 45lbs/min on the compressor map. The turbine wheel however, tells a different story, in that people forget there are 2 turbine wheel choices for the GT3071R. The 56.50mm turbine and the 60mm turbine wheel (shared with the GTX3076R and GT3076R cast wheels) Both are larger than the 53.90mm turbine wheel of the GTX2876R, and comparing the 50lbs/min of the GT3071R cast turbo, 400whp is much easier to reach than that of the GTX2876R even at over 25psi of boost pressure (a bit over 2.0PR)

Now. for the GTX3067R, that may respond a bit better than the cast GT3071R, as it uses a smaller inducer/exducer design than the standard GT3071R. Now, the GTX 11-bladed design wheel helps with making up some midrange power, but only at higher boost pressure ratios over 15psi or so, and even then, it might not be much outside of what even the GT3071R 56mm turbine wheel can do.. (The GTX3067R uses the same turbine wheel as the GT3071R)

For a lot of the tests I've utilized this on Honda and some other gasoline applications, for 400whp or so, the GT3071R still can't be beat for what it does, as the price that's used. Remember, ANYTHING in the GTX series for cost does not include turbine housing, which adds about $400 to the bill, while the GT3071R already comes with the GT25 housing (I recommend the .86A/R T2 flange for most applications) for less than the GTX28/30 combinations would be without the turbine housing.

So, there you have it. Once bigG starts inserting more pertinent information, we can go a bit further....Until then... that's kinda it.

Although that Victor X will reduce response a bit because the air will be busy filling up that plenum and not going through the runners for faster combustion

Im using a 62mm tb to help with that and long story short I have about 1200 in this build and I want to keep my red line around 8500 max

Cliff notes of my response to him.

A-400whp now for 500whp later - No need for Victor X. takes it out of the rpm band he wants anyway.

B-T25 .86A/R GTX3076R at minimum with an upgraded Turbosmart or Garrett Actuator, with porting done to the turbine housing and flapper would be the only 500whp capable T25 setup that would be used. I only say possible because even the N111 60mm exhaust wheel will have difficulty in that housing past 480whp and the turbine wheel will be a restriction by about 560whp... even GTX. That turbine wheel does a LOT for just 60mm, but it can't perform magic.

Even Subaru guys go full external gate and Rotated turbocharger by 500AWHP.

C-Needs at LEAST 58lbs/min turbocharger to get what he needs for now AND later, similar to Lighteningteg when he had his turbocharger upgraded and retuned

D At this rate, he should get a T3 exhaust manifold (preferrably equal length "shorty" from Spoolin' Performance), NO Victor X, and keep going. ... Yes, even with 404s.

I would want to see a Skunk2 manifold tested vs the Victor X with those cams. I've seen it with a stock intake and it just kills flow up top

only reason i didnt want to change the manifold was the cost to keep ps and a/c and also the spool characteristics of a log manifold will help spool a little earlier and not hit as hard with a longer runner manifold which will help with traction alot

That's a bit more like it. Performer X with ether 4730s or GSC T1s will do VERY well with the right turbocharger.

That depends also on turbocharger choice and camshaft.
