Default gtk worth the extra$$?

the gtk550 looks like a turbonetics ripoff of the gt35r for example. so why spend the extra money for the gtk? is there anything different between the two?

whats the extra $$$$ hit up tom @ camp1320.com they got great deals prices on there website

the coating on the housing. i dont care what anyone says the coating on the housing is a must. Im surey ou guys notice rust after months and nuts start seizing and bolts start brakeing. heat is the ohter factor.

the Gtk550 has the anti surge. Garrett makes anti surge for the 30, 40, 42, 45R but not the 35R ????

those are the best prices i've seen yet..but since precision has a 35r with anti-surge housing for $100's less than the gtk550 it doesn't make sense to spend $200+ if the only other difference is coating. i'm not saying that to be cheap but couldn't you just put a $20 thermal blanket on a precision 35r to make it par wih the gtk550 for $100's less.

is there something significant that i'm missing? any differences in the bearings or compressor wheel?
