.63 is still larger, the mounting flange is just different. Dont get the on-center housing unless you have space issues under the hood.

There are 2 reasons I dont recommend it. First is its very small, you should have a .63 or larger. Second reason is that its an on-center housing. They arent very efficient, spool slower, and dont flow very well. Its just not a good combination unless you absolutely need to use the housing.

How is a .63 t3 larger than a .58 t4? There is much more difference than just the mounting flange... maybe you guys overlooked the fact that this is a t4 and not a t3. This turbo will make 600whp no problem. I tuned a set-up a few weeks ago on this same turbo that was making 520whp @ 20psi (Built H22).

OP, if you want to run the turbo with a T4 housing, get the Precision equivalent, a 6162.

I would have to agree with PrecisionH23a. T4 .58 is larger than a T3 .63, and can also make 600hp. My friend who has a 35R has a T4 .58 and made 624whp / 423tq on his bseries. I spoke with Justin of Precision Turbo just the other day about this and he told me the T4 .58 will flow more than the T3 .68. Just because it is on center housing doesn't mean it won't make 600hp.

Example. T2 Series .86A/R , vs. .63A/R T3. Which one is bigger???
Answer: Neither, the area under the volute is the same..
