GT35R housing upgrade .82 to 1.06
I’ve got a potential dumb question to ask you guys… I just swapped out the exhaust housing on my GT35R, went from a .82 housing to a 1.06… I’m wondering if it’d have any significant impact on my tune? Nothing else has changed, just the exhaust housing. I just want to make sure I won’t have any issues breaking in the new motor with my old tune (no WOT runs till I retune). Thanks!
The only thing I’ve noticed during a very short test drive was the car’s running lean at idle (16-17 AFR), at partial throttle it’s in the 11-12 range.

Since your changing the pressure response I would assume you will run richer earlier in the rpm range. How soon I don't know.
Since boost response will be later your tune will deliver a higher rate of fuel sooner.
I would drive it out of boost till you retune the fuel map.

It should be fine as you will be hitting the same load regions a few rpm later than before. Those cells should already be tuned. If it was spooling sooner than youd have a problem. But really you should carry the established curve set by the trending line to cells you cant tune anyways. Just monitor AFR and tweak as needed.
