GT35r GSR Pump Gas tune (dyno chart)
your basic GSR build. pistons, rods, springs, retainers, edelbrock manifold, T3 35r, AVCR, 3 inch dp and exhaust, hondata, 1000's, 3 bar.
low HP run is at 12psi, high is at 19psi. clutch is letting go so we arnt doing a racegas tune untill we get a twin disk in it.
we had a bunch of little issues with this thing...the manifold with a single 44 gate would boost spike like crazy. i added a 2nd 44 gate and we can get it to hold 9psi rock solid now which made about 320whp. as you can see from the number of dyno runs on the car...95% of those were pulls that ended at 4k rpm due to a computer issue i was having. Javier @ hondata is the man....with all the years ive been a hondata dealer i have never had anybody be a fraction as helpfull as him.
throw some slicks on it and its a 10 second pump gas daily driver

Re: GT35r GSR Pump Gas tune (dturbocivic)
nice, im hoping for almost the same thing out of my LS/V with sc61 once i throw some boost at it. im sure the customer is loving spinning 4th gear on street tires!! haha.
great work
edit: may i ask what compression ratio?? if you know it??

9:1 CP pistons
i actually made a little bit more power, but it started to not seem as happy on pump gas so i backed it back down. as soon as we get a twin disk in it i think we will hit up the track.

good numbers! i have a T4 35R and made 366whp at 10 psi on pump as well. hoping for 400+ on 15 psi on pump!
retune for more boost when u get a new clutch

Re: (boosted k20)
when i had a 35 on my car it made 550@18psi. that whole combo worked out so well. 25psi was 616whp
this is this customers first turbo car so i think he will probably just want to get used to this power before we go and try to make any more. i think next weekend it should see the track, twin disk should be here on monday.

Re: (RacerXI)
The power band seems VERY decent, and not too laggy at all. Sick pump gas setup.
What do you say to those who say the 35R is not a good daily/pump turbo, and that the 30R is way better?? How is the lag on the street? ON/OFF when it kicks in?
P.S. this is a RARE dyno chart of a .63AR 35R, i was waiting for a post like this to come along.

i love 35s on b18's...i think the 30s are a better choice for a b16 though. ive done a few gt30r stock internal b16's that make over 300 on the stock map sensor. not too laggy either.
gt30r for b16
gt35r for b18
gt40r for h22
gt42r for spfwd
