GT30 BB on the single Cams whos got one
Im thinking of doing a GT30 BB over the winter. My car is a stock d series right now with a t3t4 .51 comp and a .63 exhaust.
Im doing pistons and rods and a heavly ported out head with over size valves.
My question is how do u guys find the lag on this turbo on the D's?

i HAD one on a z6, saw 12psi at 5500rpm. ran 13.5 @ 111mph on a stock motor. now that motor is going in the DD and im going topmount gt30r darkside (1.8l CTR)

I run the big gt30, the gt3082r, oh my dohc ZC. I get 10psi by around 4800 and full boost (20+psi) by 5200 or so. Its not tooo laggy, but its not exactly a fast spooler or anything.
Personally, if i had a street car i would want to go gt28rs or gt2871r i think thats a much better turbo for a stock sohc. The gt2871r will still put out 400hp (more then any other stock d-series ive seen) and have an good midrange. And the gt28rs can do a nice 350hp with an awesome midrange - just what the d-series needs.
