gsr swap 96 dx
Ive been wondering about the cheap turbo set ups on ebay? anyone know if their reliable. ive wondered why there so cheap compared to lets say the full race setup. is it worth my money.

There are a lot of threads about ebay stuff. Def not worth the money or risk. The only things I would use from ebay are charge piping, maybe a cast manifold, and maybe a bar and plate intercooler. Really nothing else is reliable. If you're looking for a cheap way to boost and you want the chance that the turbo will fail or the bov or wastegate won't do their job, go for it, but in my opinion stay away from the turbos, wastegates, bovs, boost controllers, and all the other stuff is garbage. IMO and most others lol.

I would personally piece together a turbo kit. I probably paid about $2500, but that includes all of the machine work for my motor. That's gonna be your best bet. Plus, you can get the exact parts that you want.
