GSR oil pan on a LS...
uh I was under the impression that it cant be done without the girdle, tray, and pickup but I have my LS pan off and the GSR pan fits just fine... will my motor reject this forien pan and spontainously implode or what? I don't see any obivous problems this will cause. I would understand not being able to put a LS pan on a GSR cause the tray and girdle wouldnt fit in there but the other way around should work right? Someone please clear this up for me thanks.

Re: GSR oil pan on a LS... (nevin)
I ran a GSR oil pan on my old LS set up. I never even knew there could be a problem. It bolted right up. I did end up spinning a bearing @ after about a yr and a half but it was because a bunch of other stuff, i doubt the pan.

if you want to use a gsr pan on a ls motor you dont need to swap the oil pick up. but the other way around from ls oil pan to gsr motor you have too.
