GSR jrsc build need help
I have a gsr motor that i am looking at rebuilding and supercharging just have some questions and need help to make sure the things i am planning on doing will work with each other and the supercharger with no issues.
I am looking and running 11:1 cp pistons and eagle rods for the bottom end. Question: Would this compression ratio work with a super charger?
Secondly i was thinking of using crower stage 2 cams but someone told me they were not good cams to use for a boosted car? true or false?
Just wanted to know before i go spending money on putting all this stuff together just to find out and realize that they dont work good together.
All positive feed back welcomed. thanks

Re: GSR jrsc build need help
11.1 cp is in the range
crower cams way to big..not going to help
save your money and get GSR intake and ITR exhaust
with dual springs inlet & exhaust
they have shown the best results and most common setup that works

Re: GSR jrsc build need help
Do you already have the JRSC? A built motor with a JRSC is kind of a waste, the most power you will ever see out of that thing is upper 280's, maybe 300 with the right dyno and a good *** tune.
The stock motor can handle 300 whp, doesnt need to be built, a stock gsr with a set of gsc turbo cams and a JRSC should get you in the high 200's at the upper boost limits of the blower.
going turbo is for good reason, a JRSC is very limited in what it can do no matter what you do to build the motor.
