ground wire for oil pressure gauge....
the instruction says to mount the ground wire in the engine bay near the oil sender. i hooked it up inside the car under the dash. will i be ok? or should i just move it to be safe? i don't see what the difference would be.
BTW, the ground is for the oil pressure GAUGE.

A ground is a ground. . Just re-ground your engine with better wire to make sure it's getting a good signal (If you haven't already)

I would have to dissagree there. There is a such a thing as ground resistance... Not usually a problem in a car, but this is a very voltage-sensitive device. Do what the instructions say, to at least be sure you are as accurate as possible.
