Default GReddy Type-S BOV owners...plz read.

I have the Type-S bov and I was wondering about some noise it makes...I would shift at 3-4k then I would get this bird chirping sorta noise afterwards. I'm not boosting either since this would be normal driving. I was wondering if you guys experienced this also...if not..maybe I got a faulty bov? TIA

I get the "chirping" sound too. It should be OK...just make sure that your BOV is adjusted tight enough and that you're not getting a vacuum leak from it being too loose.

Yeah, I get it while not yet in boost. In fact, when I start to come to a stop at a stop sign or something it kinda relieves itself with a long quiet whistle sound.

basically you should be able to watch it open the same time your boost meter goes from O back to - pressure, so basically the car was under load but not boosting and it is relieving the pressure

I get that everytime I pull into my garage, sounds like a ran over a bird or something, it's normal.
