Greddy Type S BOV broke!
So I was poking around and I noticed that the adjusting screw on my Type S was all the way out.
I thought to myself, 'hmmm.. .that's funny, I usually set it at least half way in'
I go, grab some tools, and start readjusting it when i notice that the inner threads are stripped! So no matter how hard I try to screw the adjusting screw in, or clamp it down with the adjusting nut, it just pops out!
I'm going to buy a new one, but I was wondering, with this set up (adjusting screw all the way out), will this be able to hold any boost?

the original thread is 6 x1.0mm, you can retap it to 7x1.0, but you'll have hard time finding a stud with allen head on it...
you can try 3/16" , retap the thread and you cna find 3/16 stud with allen head easily..

mine broke too, the diaphram crapped out and mine also starting sucking air in rather than blowing out. Now normally id have no argument with this but ...

dont helicoil it. just retap it to a larger size.
go to home depot, find a larger bolt, then go to sears, find the tap for that bolt
and go to town.
