greddy turbo timer installation in 4th gen civic?
how to hook it up? i read up on the net about taping the red, green, and blue to the ignition. but it says its effective only for 5th, 6th gen civic and 3rd gen integras. i couldnt find anything on here for the 4th gen civic. anyone can help?
i see the same pictures on here of the ignition..where the red goes onto the white and the green to the black and yellow, and blue on somewhere in the back. but i read this site http://importnut.net/turbotimer.htm.
i also have an alarm..would i have to hook it up differently? thanks.

Hey....i too have a Greddy turbo timer...but my ride is a EG6..
But I do have the instruction manual with me so I hope I can be of a help.
If I'm not mistaken your EF only has (1) ignition wire, correct?
RED ---- 12V DC battery
BLUE ---- 12V ACC
GREEN ---- ON (black/yellow 10awg)
BLACK ---- ground chassis
BROWN --- E-brake handle (red/green)
*** About your alarm...it does matter...u have to make sure the alarm has last door arming on passive mode. "DEI" ,makers of Viper, will not work unless you use relays...which is a bitch to wire up. In other words, while your car is still on with the turbo timer running, your alarm will not see that you have already exited the vehicle and will not automatically arm once your car shuts off. Two suggestions: 1. have an installer hook up relays to do such features ($100+) or 2. get rid of your current alarm and buy a compatible alarm with this feature..
I have an EXCALIBUR ATV-1000 alarm system and it only cost me $125 (alarm system only) and I saved a couple of bucks by installing it myself....if you do end up buying this alarm and is in need of installation help...feel free to email me...
