Default greddy turbo SPUTTER!!!?!

i have a greddy turbo kit w/ blue box and the intercooler...the car seem to sputter(lag) like the car get stuck at certain RPM, making me have to shift to other gears for the car to go. the RPM get stuck around 3 or 4 sometimes...and some times when i try to punch it...it the car lags, it feels like its not a clean flow in the motor...that happens around 4-5000 RPM...do u know the reason for this? is it running rich? or lean? my friend said somethign has to do with the map sensor? is that true? i have a 98 civic hatch, with rc injectors 310cc...please help me out...and no this car isnt tune, yet..thanks

The stock map sensor is fine if you plan on running under 11 psi, you could get emanage but i would recommend hondata, aem, neptune etc
